Fairly clean and absolutely stunning hotel with particularly good location in the area including the Racoon River Brewery, just what I needed. The property staff were very amiable.

I asked for double room with nice walk-in shower and microwave, as example, had a very nice stay.

The venue was set in the central position really close to Starbucks on 12th street and the common areas as wells the rooms.

Enjoyed the room I stayed in - it was quite spacious with 2 TVs, a big fridge, and a roomy bar area. I found a microwave, coffee & tea makers, and a fridge for my use here. 🌟

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Fort Des Moines. the staff was really friendly and the location was central, which was a highlight for me. the double room was fashionable and recently renovated, including a large bathroom. the hotel's Proudfoot & Bird restaurant was lovely and modern. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the Iowa State Fair, the river, and various restaurants downtown was convenient.

Comforts of well-maintained queen room with a spacious bathroom were fabulous. Location: the hotel was short walk to local restaurants and the outskirts of Downtown Des Moines and stores. I had quick lunch at Panera Bread, located within walking distance of the venue.

Surprisingly large and well-designed units with tv and nice staff. Great and amazing location to Polk County Convention Complex.

The food here is excellent with reasonably large rooms that have additional amenities like a sofa sleeper and a microwave, along with a bedroom, and the staff is exceptional.

The room had a TV, microwave, coffee/tea making facilities, and a fridge that all worked well, and it's in a great central location close to everything.

Cool way to wrap up our trip. the place was tidy, and the staff was super friendly. the rooms were surprisingly spacious and had a TV. I really liked the room's decorations! 🌟

our second stay in des moines was even more incredible thanks to curio collection. everything from the beautifully renovated rooms to the friendly staff exceeded our expectations. the vintage decor and modern amenities made our romantic trip truly memorable. can't wait to visit curio collection again.

My favorite property in Des Moines. The hotel was absolutely stunning with a huge variety of well-maintained rooms. Location right by the downtown which is a ghost town in the evening, the downtown shops and stores, and downtown restaurants and bars. Also, easy to restaraunts using sky walk.
